Here’s a Moulin Rouge inspired editorial from Harper’s Bazaar Korea January 2012 edition. Featuring Yesuel Lee, photographed by Kim Taeeun and styled by Seo Eun Young.

Here’s taking pajama dressing into another level. I didn’t think pajama’s can be stylish. Lol. Anyway, Han Hye Yeon for Harper’s Bazaar Korea January 2012 photographed by Kim Sangon and styled by Jo Yun.

Love the styling for this shoot. It’s cute!

Spring is in the air and on mags. Here’s the spring themed cover of Vogue Korea for February 2012 featuring model Kasia Struss lensed by Rafael Stahelin. Love the spring and retro vibe to it!

It’s been awhile since I last featured a unique Asian home. I guess I was side tracked by all these gorgeous fashion spreads and rv insurance readings. I was hopping about the web again reading on some current trends when I came across this featured house at the Contemporist.

Gorgeous would be an understatement. And definitely worth featuring here in my art and architecture section. The Kayu Aga House by Indonesian architect Yoka Sara. This gorgeous retreat is located in Canggu, Bali.

Can you imagine having this house as your weekend retreat? I can and I wish I could live in some place like this. What a beautiful use of space and light. I love designs like these.. it plays and highlights the natural beauty of the place instead of covering it up with concrete and gaudy stuff. Breathtaking, isn’t it?

She’s one of those Korean actresses who I did not like at first glance. It was a gradual thing, I guess. And a testament to Han Hyo Joo’s incredible appeal, that I found myself watching all of her dramas. By the time I watched Dong Yi I was already a big fan. She’s not classically beautiful, but she has that arresting features, lovely appeal and the camera and the screen worships her. It doesn’t hurt that she can at least act compared to her contemporaries.
Fan of her dramas I am but I love her most in photo shoots. She can really work most looks and themes. She can be girly, funky in oakley sunglasses in one shoot, then she can be all out movie star glamorous in the next. Just like in her latest Cosmopolitan Korea photo spread.

She channels old movie star glamour in this gorgeous gorgeous photo shoot. I love the dresses and I wanna have them. The question is where I’ll be using them? While scrubbing the bathroom? Lol.

How’s everyone? It’s the second day of the year of the dragon and I’m still buzzed. We had a fun fun time since the Chinese New Year is one of the biggest celebrations in the family. It’s the time for us to all be together, cook food, make offerings to our ancestors.

And yesterday, it was a day for merriment, more food and fun. It was not a day for mellow, mood music like what an acoustic guitar brings in but noisy, blaring drum rolls to usher in the year of the Dragon. Everywhere here in the city, there were dragon/lion dance performances. The Chinese do believe this wards off evil spirits and ushers in good vibes and luck.
New year for me means new beginnings. And always I feel more drive to work more, succeed more. And I’m wishing everyone to have great tidings this year. Xin Nian Kuai Lei, dear readers!
The international new year just ended and here we are preparing for Chinese New Year! I always look forward to new years! It’s a start and it always pays to have a positive and energetic mind set. It’s also always a great time to set goals and make wishes. So whether you wish for prosperity, peace, business luck or even something as simple as stainless steel jewelry, it never hurts to give it a try.
As for me I want to wish for good health for my family, myself and my friends. Prosperity and good luck for my ‘ventures’ this year. And also the chance to extend my gratitude to those who had been helpful and a chance too to forgive and be forgiven for those I crossed and whom have crossed me.
Let’s all start the year of the dragon with good spirits and good heart. Gong Xi Fa Cai, everyone!

She’s uber talented, on top of her game, world famous and on top of that she’s gorgeous. What a girl. I’m talking about Kim Yuna. In case she wants to give up figure skating she could very well make a career out of modelling!

Here’s the ‘Queen Yuna’ on Harper’s Bazaar December 2011 editorial called State of Grace. Lensed by Choi Yong Bin and styled by Mirim Lee.
