I actually missed cruising about for the latest Asian singles and MV’s. I think I’ve been out of the loop for a time already so I got myself updated this afternoon. And got some goodies. 2PM released the MV for “Hands Up (East4A Mix)” thru their Youtube channel. For 2PM fans, I’m pretty sure you know that the single Hands Up has been making chart headlines since it was released so it was nice to see a new video.

The MV was shot in Singapore and features the hotties Junsu, Nichkhun, Taecyeon, Wooyoung, Chansung and Junho having a whale of a time onboard a luxury yacht. Hmm, cool looking, if I may say so. I was hoping to see them in something sporty, maybe with some sport goggles, but this MV’s nice. I think I’m turning into a fan? Huh?

I have a confession to make. I like Jay Park’s dance moves!! Hahaha.. So let me indulge…

Makes you wanna get up and dance right?
It has been awhile since I last posted something about music. Not that I’m not enjoying music anymore, I was simply preoccupied with Asian fashion magazines for a time. Anyway, SNSD recently released the full music video of their single Mr. Taxi. Check it out..

A truly wacky and funny TV commercial from Wacoal, a Japanese underwear brand. Ballerina’s in heeled shoes? And I just find the moves really hilarious and goes really well with the dancers almost stoic faces. When it comes to lingerie tv commercial, well I’m kinda fed up with those titillating, sexy themed ads, so this is a very refreshing breathe of fresh air. They are dressed in ballet costumes but the moves are hilariously like robots or anime’s!! I just wish I could understand the song, maybe then itll be funnier?

Lol! Watching this is a lot better than thinking about disability insurance, that’s for sure. This is what I love about the Japanese, they are quirky, creative and so much fun! I think this made me just want to scour the web for funny Asian commercials. Hmmm, definitely a nice posting idea. We’ll see about that.

I love Japan!!! They always come up with the coolest, weirdest, unique stuff. Its on the top list of must-travel to countries. And I seriously wanna check this out…

A taxi filled with cats! Yes, cats. Though not real ones. Hahaha. Mr. Hiraga’s ‘cat mobile’ can be seen around Wakayama City. I have to make sure this city is in my itinerary if I ever visit Japan.
Hiraga started his cat collection 12 years ago with a single lucky cat decoration he bought from Kimii-dera temple. He thought the one cat looked kind of lonely, so he soon bought it a friend. His taxi now is filled with 888 lucky cats:
Pure awesomeness. But I wonder, does the taxi still have room for luggages? Lol! And I suppose this taxi should not go near any bird baths. I’m pretty sure its gonna scare off the birds.

I had been too busy to check out the latest in Asian music scene lately, but this morning I had a bit of time in my hands and has been browsing around. Here’s something I’ve been liking.

YG Entertainment releases a teaser MV for Seungri’s bid to comeback track, What Do You Want Me To Do. This song is part of the Mini-album that Seungri is expected to release on January 20th.

I always thought Seungri was a better dancer than he is a singer. But somehow this MV has something really good. I’m watching out for the full version.
Lol! And ugh, I find him adorable. Hahaha he’s now on the list of younger men I have inappropriate crushes on. Nothing serious but cute guys like him inspire ladies like me to check out stomachweightloss.org. Really, that’s about it.

I find this kinda cute so I’m sharing. This is actually the second MV for the single Love Love Love and I’m finding myself liking this more. It’s just so natural and cute. The MV consists of behind the scenes clips of filming for the cover jacket of the single album.

Being Asian, I could say that I’m familiar with Asian cuisine yet I could still never say that I’ve tasted all kinds of Asian cuisine. It has similarities but each country has its own very distinct cuisine that tasting different Asian food becomes an adventure itself.
I lived in Asia most of my life, but I’m still endlessly fascinated with the Asian cuisine. It’s very unique and truly a gastronomically orgasmic journey! From the ingredients, to the cooking utensils used, to table settings, how its eaten and ultimately the flavors, it is very very distinct. Like one of my American friends said, he could never get enough of Asian food, its diversity just guarantees that he’d be trying it out for a long long time.
Beginners could find Asian cuisine daunting because of its diversity, even me could get quite confused. I’ve taken to watching cooking channels dedicated to Asian food and here’s one YouTube channel I found – AsianFoodChannel.
Lots of short videos about different Asian food, just enough to get you started and salivating! Here’s one I picked to feature – Sizzling Wok! highlighting Singaporean food. It’s a short teaser ad for their show Sizzling Wok.

Uh, I wish we have this channel on our cable!!
