I love spring editorials. They just make me happy and I can’t help but smile whenever I see light colors, flowers and if you add beautiful faces and superb styling to it, then it’ll be a great visual treat, right?

Korean beauty Hye Jung Lee wears spring fashion styled by Eun Ji Jung and lensed by Ryoo-Hyungwon. I love those pretty accessories and I seriously want those see through black shoes, I’ll even forego those Circuit City coupons someone is giving me as gift in lieu of this. Ha. And the handbags are just LOVE.

And whew! I’m a happy camper since there has been a slew of very pretty fashion editorials and covers from Asian fashion magazines this first quarter of the year. Lots of pretty things to see and I don’t even need to have icverify to know that there will be lots of featured fashion stuff here again..

Han Hyo Joo Glams Up for Cosmopolitan Korea

She’s one of those Korean actresses who I did not like at first glance. It was a gradual thing, I guess. And a testament to Han Hyo Joo’s incredible appeal, that I found myself watching all of her dramas. By the time I watched Dong Yi I was already a big fan. She’s not classically beautiful, but she has that arresting features, lovely appeal and the camera and the screen worships her. It doesn’t hurt that she can at least act compared to her contemporaries.

Fan of her dramas I am but I love her most in photo shoots. She can really work most looks and themes. She can be girly, funky in oakley sunglasses in one shoot, then she can be all out movie star glamorous in the next. Just like in her latest Cosmopolitan Korea photo spread.

She channels old movie star glamour in this gorgeous gorgeous photo shoot. I love the dresses and I wanna have them. The question is where I’ll be using them? While scrubbing the bathroom? Lol.

She’s uber talented, on top of her game, world famous and on top of that she’s gorgeous. What a girl. I’m talking about Kim Yuna. In case she wants to give up figure skating she could very well make a career out of modelling!

Ceci Magazine Featuring Shin Se Kyung

I’ve been looking for something to inspire me. I’ve been mulling over a jewelry making project but for weeks I remain uninspired. Till I saw this. Shin Se Kyung, working up the cameras as a snow goddess for Ceci Magazine, December issue.

Sure, there has been a lot of fantasy-themed photo shoots recently but the styling of this shoot elevates it from being tagged only so-so. I love love her beige dress on the last photo. I haven’t really seen much of Shin Se Kyung’s work but I really like her as a model. She’s just about perfect for those doll-like images and knows how to project on cam. At the very least you won’t get the same blank expression from her.

Han Ye Seul Channels Alice in Wonderland for Allure Korea

I kinda like Han Ye Seul more as a model than an actress. She has that amazing chameleon like quality that can change her look with every style she sports. I also noticed magazines favoring fantasy themes and the Alice in Wonderland theme has been used too just recently for a WonderGirl featured editorial for Vogue Korea. {Check it out here}. Hmmm, I wonder what’s next in store for magazine editorials. I wouldn’t be surprised if they had some celebrity rocking a baby jogger city mini gt double next. lol.

That being said, I think Han Ye Seul rocked in this photoshoot. Although the styling calls to mind the Mad Hatter rather than Alice, but that makes it all the more interesting. I looooove the peach-glossy lip tint on her. Gorgeous, gorgeous. At the very least it makes me want to try on a false eyelashes like that. Hahaha..

Min Hyo Rin Goes Glam for Harper’s Bazaar

Hello! I’m back and getting ready to feature some more Asian lifestyle goodies. Here’s some serious eye candy before I get too immersed in researching steel drums at drumsofsteel.com, I’m posting a glam photoshoot for Harper’s Bazaar Korea featuring magazine editorials/commercials fave Min Hyo Rin.

There really is no denying she has that magnetic quality, the camera worships her so I am not surprised I keep seeing her in product endorsements, tv commercials/print ads, and a whole lot of magazine editorial spreads. There latest one here features some beautifully styled fall outfits.

Love love the outfits and I am now seriously coveting that brown handbag.That bright red lips works and is tempting me to buy one bright red shade of lipstick. I’m not sure I could pull it off like her though. Hahaha…
