Vogue Korea March 2011 features Hyun Bin and Tang Wei lensed by Zo Sun Hi. I know Hyun Bin and Tang Wei are two gorgeous and accomplished celebrities but I find this cover a tad forgettable. Boring actually.
I love Hyun Bin’s stare but the whole thing looks kinda off.. Oh, well at least its some kind of eye candy.

The heirs of the late actress, Choi Jin Sil has been ordered by a court to compensate an adver
tiser since she failed to maintain her dignity as a model when pictures of her after a beating by her then-husband Cho Sung-min were publicized in media.
A construction company sued the Choi Jin Sil in 2004 for W3 billion (US$1=W1,250) for damages incurred and the modeling fee paid. The company paid Choi W250 million in March 2004 for modeling for apartment buildings. The said contract included a clause that if Choi disgraced the image of the company by damaging her social and moral image through her own fault, she would repay the firm twice the modeling fee.
Since Choi passed away in 2008, her status has been passed on to her children, an 8-year old son and a 6-year old daughter with Choi’s mother acting as their guardian.
Choi was initially cleared of the responsibility but the Supreme Court has reveresed the decion and sent the case back to Seoul High Court.
This is a rather sad case and I do symphatize with Choi Jin Sil’s heirs. To think they lost their mother at such a young age and now they are faced with this. Granted that the photos may have damaged the “image of the company” but she was the one beaten up so I think she’s more of the victim..
Hope this case ends up well for Choi Jin Sil’s heirs.

Isabella Leong Lok-si, 21 and Hong Kong billionaire Richard Li, 43 has been recently blessed with a son. Ethan Li Changzhi, born April 26 weighing 7 pounds and was born by natural delivery.

The couple has sparked rumors of them having a relationship in 2008, and rumors of Isabella being pregnant was circulating early this year. The uprising Eurasian actress has also been involved in a contract dispute with her management company, Emperor Entertainment Group (EEG). Early last year the Isabella was accused of breaking the 10-year contract her mother stuck in her behalf when she was just 10 years old. Thankfully, the contract dispute ended well, (probably Richard’s doing, eh??:P) and ended in out of court settlement.
Isabella said she has no immediate plans to return to work, but I do hope she would resume her career sometime. She is very talented and has a very bright future ahead..
All’s well and good then. Congratulations and cheers for the new baby..

Taiwanese pop princess Jolin Tsai has been wowing audiences with her bold dance moves ever since she released her “Dancing Diva” album some three years ago. Her complicated dance moves however have taken its toll on the feisty star with a lower back injury prompting her record company and agency to impose a two-month dancing “ban” to make sure that she fully recovers from the injury.

The “ban” decision was made after Tsai had a photosession for a jewelry ad and the the singer was in tears before the photo shoot because of the severe pain from her lower back injury.
Jolin Tsai’s latest dance routine involves a ballet, where she insisted on mastering the moves in just two months when professional dancers usually take 20 years. Tsai, 29, postponed her upcoming three school concerts and six commercial events in China, and this would mean a loss of over NT$20 million.
There are rumors circulating that the “dancing ban” was imposed to help push sales in the three other remaining school concerts since her first four concerts have generated poor sales, with organizers losing about NT$4 million. The organizers however, are quick to deny the rumors.
The dancing diva is still heading to some more events to promote her latest album, “Butterfly”but she’ll mostly be sticking to ballads when she performs..
