‘New Denim’ Editorial – Harper’s Bazaar Korea
Here’s an editorial from Harper’s Bazaar Korea April 2011 issue called New Denim. With model Sera Park lensed by Hong Jang Hyun. I am simply in love with the styling of this editorial.

This girl definitely has boatloads of charisma. She’s so potent on film, and it doesn’t stop on print. I’ve stopped envying her for so long, hahaha I think one realizes its futile to wish to have been blessed with Jun Ji-hyun’s gorgeous looks. What can we do except stare and sigh?
Here she is working up that lovely lovely look on cam for High Cut Korea.
This is a rather late feature but I just recently came across this from Mode Newslicious and I love it! It’s an Elle Girl Korea February 2011 feature. With model Daryn Aniskova and lensed by Hong Jang Hyun.
Vogue Korea March 2011 features Hyun Bin and Tang Wei lensed by Zo Sun Hi. I know Hyun Bin and Tang Wei are two gorgeous and accomplished celebrities but I find this cover a tad forgettable. Boring actually.
I love Hyun Bin’s stare but the whole thing looks kinda off.. Oh, well at least its some kind of eye candy.
Here’s one Korean pop group that doesn’t make me gnash my teeth every time I see them. I actually like them! Or maybe I just dig Lee Hong Ki after watching You’re Beautiful?
FT Island or Five Treasure Island is a five member Korean band. Lee Hong Ki on lead vocals, with Lee Jae Jin, Choi Jung Hun, Choi Min Hwan and Song Seung Hyun completing the rest of the group.
They are popular not just in Korea but also in Japan and here’s their latest MV release for their upcoming Japanese single So Today…,their third major single released under their Japanese label – Warner Music Japan.
Watch the video, I like it. Has that uniquely Japanese vibe and of course features that cool Tokyo skyline. Though I must say some of the boys needs some indoor tanning lotion. Really. What’s with the super pale look?
Just when I thought I just had about enough of those pop and techno sounding music from Korean groups and singers, here comes the release of V.O.S’s Full Story, the title track from their mini album – “Part 1 – The Blue Bird” released on September 17th.
Kim Kyung Rok and Choi Hyun Joon are promoting the title track as a duo after Park Ji Heon left last August 2010 to pursue a solo music career.
I love the MV, the story, and the melody. There something so touching and real about it. I need not wonder now why this ballad group is called V.O.S. – “Voice of Souls”. Very fitting.
I know some of the music by some Kpop girl groups were beginning to wear me out and I feel like I’m being forced to take hgh supplements just by listening to them, at least this one from V.O.S. makes for a refreshing change. They haven’t met that much success yet in the past and now I sure hope they make it! Best of luck to V.O.S.
Hunky Korean actor Hyun Bin celebrated his 27th birthday last September 25 at the National Hall in Yokohama, Japan with more than 5,000 Japanese fans attending.
The be-dimpled Korean actor played the piano and serenaded his fans with Steve Barakatt’s “No Regret” and “Misty” as well as other songs from his latest drama project Friend, Our Legend. He also performed “This is the Moment” from the stage musical Jekyll and Hyde.
