She’s hands down my favorite Korean actress. I dunno, there’s just something about her that I find so appealing. I know some actresses lovelier than her but she just captivates me. She’s also an avid fashionista which is something that I really like and she’s a pretty good actress to boot. I’m so excited about her upcoming drama with another one of my favorites Kang Ji Hwan.

She also does well as a model and since she started out as a singer in a girl group Baby V.O.X. she can also sing! I suppose there’s no end to this lovely lady’s talents.. But anyway, here she is modeling for a photo spread on a China based magazine – BQ.

Lovely. Refreshing. Makes me wistful and think back on college days…Hmm, which reminds me, I do have to do a bit of searching for college flags. So I have to say, Ciao! in a bit. More posts later.

Here’s the ultra gorgeous Korean actress Han Chae Young for a photo spread in Elle Korea May 2011 issue. She’s currently the endorser of Kerasys hair products and one can see just why.. She’s lovely. Chae Young just captivates even on print. I think I love her more on print that on TV. Not that she’s not lovely on TV, I just find her so lovely on print.

It’s no wonder she’s called Korea’s Barbie Doll, with that svelte figure and lovely doll-like face. With a successful career under her belt and {from what I hear} a mega rich hubby, well, she’s definitely the girl to envy. I bet she doesn’t even have to worry about how to remove pimples like normal girls do. Lol!

I just love this last photo..
Anyway, I liked her in Delightful Girl Choon Hyang, but her subsequent acting projects didn’t really capture my interest. Hopefully, I get to see her in a drama next..

It’s nice to see Korean actress doing something a little bit different. I’m not exactly a fan of her as an actress but these photos look okay. Photographed by Kim Yeongjun for Harper’s Bazaar November 2010 edition.
There’s a surreal thing/vibe going on this photo shoot and I find it very appealing..

I’m seriously curious about the Pantech brand. Too bad its not available where I’m currently based. =) But I’m really pleased that Asian electronic products and companies are fast joining big brands and giving them serious competition too. As for consumers, well this is a good thing, more brands, more choices.
Anyway, Pantech Korea has recently announced that it will be releasing their latest IM-A630K, an Adroid 2.1 Smartphone for the women’s market segment.

The phone has been described with the following features:
Powered by an Android 2.1 OS, the new Pantech IM-A630K features a sleek and compact (114.4 x 55.4 x 13.35mm) design in order to perfectly fit women hands. Specs wise, we have a 3.2 inch LCD Multi-Touch Screen with a resolution of 800 x 480, a 5MPix AF camera module, Bluetooth, and T-DMB TV Tuner. Our Smartphone Women-oriented is available in Black, and White. Note that Pantech plan to release an Android 2.2 updates later.
Dimension: 114.4 x 55.4 x 13.35mm
Weight: 106.2g
What do you think? The features listed looks impressive enough but it sure doesn’t look that feminine to me which is weird considering its for women..And oh, I did notice that their endorser is popular Korean actress Goo Hye Sun..

Goo Hye Sun of the Boys Over Flower fame is one multi-talented celebrity! She’s an actress, writer, director and just recently she released a digital single entitled Brown Hair. Is she any good as a singer?

See for yourself, check out Brown Hair’s MV..

You’ve probably noticed by now that I like featuring magazine editorials. I love fashion and I love magazines. There’s something so interesting in seeing these personalities being made up in an editorial aiming to share a look, a story..
I do have another blog where i feature mostly US/European fashion editorials, but I really feel that Asian fashion magazines are fast coming into its own and that they deserve the accolade afforded its US and European counterparts..
Last time I featured mostly magazine editorials/covers from China. But one thing to watch out for for really fashion forward editorials are those from Korea. Like this one for June 2010 Vogue Korea featuring actress Han Hye Jin, photographed by Hong Jang Hyun, in an editorial called “Be The Reds!”
