I’m pretty overwhelmed with the mag covers and fashion editorials I found for April and May 2011 so I’m afraid I’d be flooding you guys with posts..

Blogging Blurb: Tweaking a New Blog

Not exactly a new blog. It has been online for quite sometime already. For sure you can all see that I’m into fashion, trends, magazines and this other blog is somehow related to this passion. I’m quite obsessed with trend watching, lol! If you also love fashion and if you’re like me who’d rather watch trends than get serious with my teaching degrees, then you might want to have a look at this blog – Seeking Out What’s IN and What’s IT!

Anyway, I’ve been doing a lot of blog makeovers and I skipped that blog. Mainly coz I was in love with the current layout. But I think its time for a change.  I’m thinking of something really minimalistic, without much images and whatnots, just plain text to highlight the content.

Once I’m done with it, for sure I’ll be back to posting on this. Later :)

Little Tweaks..

I changed theme planning to have a rotating header thing. But till now I have yet to make it.. Hmmm, I am just so swamped with work and this has taken a backseat. I’m also back to watching Kdrama and currently obsessing on Dream High so this taking the times I’m not blogging. lol!

Anyway, I really hope I could get down and some photoshopping for the blog headers soon. I really also need to do some blog networking. Note to self: Remember this!!! Among my blogs, this is the most neglected..

I also have plugin installations to do and thankfully I remembered to install a back up plugin last time. That’s one thing that’s really important – data backup. Losing data I’ve worked long for will absolutely drive anyone nuts so thankfully I have this covered already.

Other than those, I’d still be posting regularly and of course do a bit of SEO.

Only in Japan: Cat-Filled Taxi

I love Japan!!! They always come up with the coolest, weirdest, unique stuff. Its on the top list of must-travel to countries. And I seriously wanna check this out…

A taxi filled with cats! Yes, cats. Though not real ones. Hahaha. Mr. Hiraga’s ‘cat mobile’ can be seen around Wakayama City. I have to make sure this city is in my itinerary if I ever visit Japan.

Hiraga started his cat collection 12 years ago with a single lucky cat decoration he bought from Kimii-dera temple. He thought the one cat looked kind of lonely, so he soon bought it a friend. His taxi now is filled with 888 lucky cats:

Pure awesomeness. But I wonder, does the taxi still have room for luggages? Lol! And I suppose this taxi should not go near any bird baths. I’m pretty sure its gonna scare off the birds.

Asian Food: Kimchi!

Seriously, its mouth watering just thinking about it. I have this really weird craving now for kimchi. No, I’m not Korean but I like love it! I like mixing it with steamed rice and adding leftovers with it. Just yummy! And I could ate more than a plateful of rice when we have kimchi! Ongoing diet and diet pills be damned. And besides Kimchi, I think has evolved into one dish that is recognized all over the world as distinctly Asian cuisine.

Since, I like it so much, I figured I should try to learn how to make it. But first things first, what is Kimchi? Its a Korean dish made out of fermented vegetables. It’s quite healthy but when I pair with rice I end up eating a lot of carbo lol!

Anyways, I’ve beens searching online on recipes and how to’s on making Kimchi and I find this article from WikiHow really helpful. With lots of photos to make each step a tad easier, even a kitchen klutz like me would get this..

And a video from Koreancuisine.

A Quick Personal Update

Ooppps, its been a week since I last posted here. I’ve been amiss!!! I know, I was just too busy. I was working on a lot of projects, as well as trying to be on top of some personal projects like trying to lose weight hehe..

Anyway, I’m back to the blogging grind after that short respite and I’ll soon be flooding this blog again with a deluge of updates lol! I have also been working on an old site of mine which has taken a back seat. It’s sort of related to this site, since the focus is mainly Asian Celebrities and their TV commercials.

I also have some site improvement plans for this and I really have to do some serious link building and networking for this blog. Hmmm, Blog! Sorry I’ve relegated you to the sidelines, but hopefully well turn that around sometime soon..

More later…

Cool Looking Doghouse in Japan

One lucky dog! Why? He lives in an almost-castle, a 2.5 meter replica of Matsumoto Castle!!

The dog’s owner spent 6 months and 50,000 yen to build it. It contains one main room, plus a rear room in which the dog can hide during thunder storms. There is also a separate room with a sand floor, which is meant to offer a surface on which the dog can feel cool during the summer months.

Gee, I wish I was that lucky lol! I could totally understand why dog owners can really go to such expense just to give their pets luxuries. Hmm, they’re like part of the family too.I remember when we had a dog, she was totally pampered! We even had to do an extensive search for natural weight loss products coz her vet said she was too fat. Too bad, she got dog-napped and we lost her. My daughter haven’t really gotten over it yet so were waiting awhile before getting another one.

Lee Hyori for Fila Sports

She’s pretty, very pretty.  Talented and she’s got a really sexy bod! No wonder, Korean pop star and style icon Lee Hyori was picked to be Fila Sports endorser.

I think she has a very healthy looking body (lol! not anoexic looking as opposed to other celebs), a beautiful face, and of course, that she enjoys hiking and mountain climbing makes her just about perfect for Fila Sports, an outdoor brand.

Here’s some of the photos from FilaSports featuring the lovely Lee Hyori in of course, an outdoor setting. I love the stills, it makes one think of adventures, outdoor fireplaces, of being with nature and just being active. Mind you, I’m green with envy though coz only in my dreams would I be as fresh looking and pretty as that after climbing and hiking around lol!
