No matter how hard I look or hang out in fashion magazine forums, its rare to find Hong Kong based mags. So when I came across Harper’s Bazaar Hong Kong’s featured editorial called ‘Boyish’ for May 2011 issue, I just had to post it here. I’ve been regularly posting mags from Singapore, China, Korea, Japan but I have yet to feature one from Hong Kong. So here’s the first..
Featuring model Anastasia Kuznetsova, styled by Isabelle Thiry and lensed by Tina Luther.
What can I say? I love the styling! Definitely ‘boyish’ with some hints of femininity. I almost thought I was going to see her sporting Dutch Masters cigars to take the boyish look to another level! It’s also a breath of fresh air to see some editorial that is not too cluttered and sporting neutral colors. Yeah, I guess I’ve gotten too tired of too many color blocking editorials I’ve seen the past few months. Anyways, I hope to chance upon more Hong Kong based fashion magazine more regularly.

She’s hands down my favorite Korean actress. I dunno, there’s just something about her that I find so appealing. I know some actresses lovelier than her but she just captivates me. She’s also an avid fashionista which is something that I really like and she’s a pretty good actress to boot. I’m so excited about her upcoming drama with another one of my favorites Kang Ji Hwan.
She also does well as a model and since she started out as a singer in a girl group Baby V.O.X. she can also sing! I suppose there’s no end to this lovely lady’s talents.. But anyway, here she is modeling for a photo spread on a China based magazine – BQ.
Lovely. Refreshing. Makes me wistful and think back on college days…Hmm, which reminds me, I do have to do a bit of searching for college flags. So I have to say, Ciao! in a bit. More posts later.

I think I’m in love with this lovely shots by Wee Khim. Featuring model Julia, styled by Johnny Khoo and donning outfits from labels like Givenchy, Yves Saint Laurent and Valentino.
A little belated. Last March’s fashion feature on Harper’s Bazaar Korea called “The Clean White”. I know after a healthy those of color blocking, I was just in a mood for something white.
Features model Won-Kyung Kim and lensed by Choi Yong Bin.
Vogue Nippon April 2011 issue features and editorial called When Life Was Young. With model Patricia van der Vliet, styled by Clare Richardson and lensed by Lachlan Bailey.
I love the understated, elegant styling.

This is a rather late feature but I just recently came across this from Mode Newslicious and I love it! It’s an Elle Girl Korea February 2011 feature. With model Daryn Aniskova and lensed by Hong Jang Hyun.
