I love media players! More often than not, I have to sleep with some music playing and these tiny little players are a lot better than a sleep aid. I had an iPod, but after I purchased a Sony Ericsson phone with a superb music player and radio, it was shelved and my sister just claimed it now as hers.
A couple of weeks back, I’ve been browsing an electronics store here in Phnom Penh and the all new Sony Walkman series got my attention. Sleek! That’s how I would describe it. And considering that Sony Walkmans are almost icons when it comes to music players I would bet they would sound fantastic. So I’ve been watching out for the latest releases and oh! boy these ones makes me want to go for it, swipe the card, and bring it home.

It comes in three colors – black, white, and rose pink. Expect to see it in stores in the middle of November in capacities of 16, 32, and 64 GB ranging from about 24,000 to 40,000 JPY.

Sony Walkman’s NW-S750 series
Features digital noise canceling technology, which allows the user to choose from modes calibrated to his or her environment – ‘train/bus’, ‘airplane’, or ‘indoors’; as well as the Digital Sound Enhancement Engine, which recreates the high-frequency range of compressed audio files. The battery lasts fifty hours longer than previous comparable models – 40 with digital noise canceling on. The S series will go on sale on the 9th of October for an estimated price of between 14,000 and 20,000 JPY for storage sizes of 8 to 32 GB.
Now I have something to save for!!
