I find Shu Qi just so unconventionally pretty. There’s something about her that just grabs one’s attention. Some might call it the elusive x-factor, I’m not sure. Perhaps, its simply what makes her unique..Her looks, style and the way she projects herself.
Sexy, mysterious and very very alluring..One of Asia’s most recognizable faces, Chinese actress Shu Qi here featured in Madame Figaro magazine.

I found this very fascinating! I’ve always associated origami with home and hearth, with all things quaint, with simple beauty, of things Asian. Now how would it turn out if origami meets high fashion?
These..

One of the best things to enjoy in Asia are colorful and very distinct festivals. The Solo Batik Carnival is an annual carnival held in Solo City , Indonesia. This is really interesting and the colors are just amazing! Hmm, its a very young carnival having been started just last 2008, but it looks really good. Judging by the photos I’d surely want to see this in person. I’ve been searching online though for a website where I could get more info about the festival but there’s not much…
Here’s some photos from the 2010 Solo Batik Carnival..

I must admit Beijing does not come to mind when it comes to beautiful autumn landscapes but I was surprised to see that it does have a stunning autumn scenery. Here’s some photos from Yanqi Township of Huairou District of Beijing, China.
The mountainside looks like a painting canvass awash with colors of autumn..
